Enrichment at Center
School

The Enrichment program at Windham Center School involves working
with each classroom for one 45-minute activity period per week to
enhance the general curriculum. Class instruction is set up in
conjunction with the theme or unit for the specific grade level. Our
school policy is that each student deserves a chance at Enrichment,
and our approach is one of differentiated learning. Many activities involve problem solving and deductive reasoning skills. All learning styles
are addressed and a variety of approaches is used in the weekly
classes. Some examples of these are cooperative group projects, use
of manipulatives, and hands-on activities emphasizing teamwork.
