Third grade at Center School consists of eleven classrooms divided into teams. A variety of teaching methods are applied in order to reach the different learning styles of our students. These approaches to lessons include hands-on activities with manipulatives, centers, and individual, small, or whole group instruction. Class time in third grade is blocked to allow for self-contained teaching time, shared team classes, and occasional rotating of classes for mini-units.
