WHS Mark your calendars!!! Thursday, November 13th, Mr. Richard Manley, Principal of Windham High School, will be at the monthly Windham PTA business meeting. He will be presenting an impressive power point presentation on plans for the new High School. The meeting will be held in the library at Windham Center School at 7:00 PM, and the public is invited to attend.
Thank You for being a member of the Windham Center School Volunteer Program!!! Since the start of school our database of volunteers has grown to a hearty 230+ members. Every school year this PTA program is wildly successful; teachers and staff are thrilled with all the volunteer support we are able to regularly provide for them. But did you know that registering to be in the volunteer database does not automatically make you a PTA member? Every school year parents and teachers must renew their membership with the PTA. Without you annual membership support many great programs, not just the volunteer program, are at risk. If you have yet to renew your PTA membership, we encourage you to consider doing so. Membership forms can be found online at www.windhampta.org <http://www.windhampta.org> or in the baskets outside the school office. They can be returned to WCS with your child or mailed directly to the PTA. All membership questions should be directed to Anne Marie ONeil at a.oneil@windhampta.org
Safety Phone If your child is going to be out sick or arrive to school later than 8:45am, for any reason, please remember to call the safety phone line at 432-7962. Messages may be left at any time of day or night. Be sure to call each day your child is absent. If the school does not hear from you and your child is on the absentee list, a Center School safety phone volunteer WILL call you. We appreciate your timely calls as it helps us to streamline the process of accounting for each absent child.
