Mission and Goals
Mission Statement:
"Our mission is to be a continuously improving, learning community, providing quality services to enable all children to master the knowledge and competencies necessary to function skillfully throughout life."
Facilities Planning:
Goal: The Windham School Board will continue to execute the Facilities Master Plan to add educational space and expand athletic facilities in a fiscally responsible manner. A proposed solution of a 7/8th grade school will be presented to voters in March, 2013.

Collective Bargaining:
The Windham School Board entered into negotiations with both the Windham Education Association (teachers) and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) (Council 93, Local 1801 - Instructional Assistants) in the summer of 2012 and reached tentative agreements with both groups in December 2012. Transition to SAU 95
Goal: The Windham School Board will work collaboratively with the Pelham School Board on the division of physical assets of the joint SAU 28. The Windham School Board and the administrative team will establish SAU 95 by June 30, 2013.

Superintendent Search:
Goal: The Windham School Board will formally begin their search for a Superintendent for SAU 95 in September 2012 to be complete by April 2013.

Goal: The Windham School Board will continue to actively communicate with and seek input from the Windham Community on District considerations and refine communication mechanisms as appropriate.
