Chairperson Bruce Anderson called the public session of the Windham School Board to order at 7:05 p.m. with a call of the roll. All those in attendance stood to salute the flag and to observe a moment of silence.
Windham High School Charge
Bruce Anderson announced the final selection of the newly formed Building Committee. He spoke of how the Committee is empowered to get the project back on track. He noted there were 7 members and 1 alternate on this Committee: Laura Bellivia, Carl DuBay, Rick Horrigan, Mike Joanis, Jan Moynihan-Cooney, Bernie Roulliard and Dan Sheehan. The alternate(s) includes Brian McNamara – a 2nd alternate has yet to be determined.
Bruce Anderson stated that the Committee is made up of a diverse team of engineering, financial and educational professionals.

Mr. Anderson noted this is a positive step forward.
Owner’s Representative/Clerk of the Works Update
Bruce Anderson officially announced that Mr. Glen Davis was hired as the new Owners Representative. He stated that Mr. Davis is already involved in meetings and has a broad background in facilities work.
Joint SAU Meeting Update
Bruce Anderson stated that at the recent SAU meeting held on October 4th, the Boards accepted the retirements of Business Administrator Brian Gallagher and Superintendent Dr. Elaine Cutler. They will both continue in their positions until the end of the school year.

Candidates Forum: Educational Funding
The following candidates were in attendance and gave a brief opening statement followed by a question and answer period: DJ Bettencourt; David Carney; Anthony DiFruscia; Robert J. Elliott; Mary Griffin; Charles E. McMahon; Mark Pearson; Laurel Redden; Chris Rossetti; Ralph Stein; Kevin Waterhouse; and Carolyn B. Webber. (Connor O’Brien not in attendance – forwarded a letter to Chairman Anderson asking him to read aloud at meeting).
Candidates gave their views on bill HB616, school vouchers and their definition of what constitutes an adequate education. Most candidates believed that the current legislature has failed education.
Motion to Adjourn the public session under RSA 91-A:3II(b) at 9:12 p.m .was made by Beverly Donovan with a 2nd by Barbara Coish. Galen Stearns-aye; Beverly Donovan-aye; Barbara Coish-aye; Beth Valentine-aye and Bruce Anderson-aye.
