WHS Course Selection goes live March 5th: Parents and students will be able to review the Program of Studies (PDF) starting February 21st, on line registration begins Monday March 5th and remains open for 2 weeks.

PARENTAL COURSE OVERRIDE FORM

If a parent/guardian chooses to override a teacher recommendation for a particular course, please download this form, completing where applicable, and return to the WHS Guidance Department.  It is important to go ahead with the course selection process and submit your choices as originally recommended.  We will handle the course override request after we receive your original selections and have a signed parental form.  * Please understand that each academic course has certain prescribed standards that must be met.  Extra help beyond that which is available to all students in a class should not be expected. Princeton Review SAT Class

Starting March 3^rd, the Princeton Review will offer a 6-week course at WHS to prepare your student for the SAT’s. Juniors will receive a mailing from the Princeton review with all the information. The course cost is $499.00. See your guidance counselor for further information.

Windham High School will once again host the SAT’s on Saturday May 5^th

AP Exams will be held during the weeks of May 7 and May 14, 2012. The fee for each exam is $87. Registration forms must be completed and returned to guidance by Friday, March 9th. Checks are payable to Windham High School.

Important Dates

SENIORS: Please be mindful of college application deadlines.
If your application is due January 1st, make sure you meet your deadline. Guidance will not be working over the Holiday break so all materials that are due by January 1st will need to be submitted by December 14th. Please make your requests to your counselors and teachers by December 9th to make sure all materials are ready to be sent prior to the holiday break. Thanks for your attention to this matter.
