The construction of the new Windham High School is flourishing.  The dedicated and hard-working staff and engineers are busily at work; they have made so much progress that the school is two to three weeks ahead of schedule. In order to have both an educational and entertaining experience at the new school, innovative classrooms are being built. There are technology rooms for robotics, computers, and graphic designing equipment for the future Windham High students. Plus, there is an innovative gymnasium that can hold over 1,200 people and will also be available for town events and emergencies. The auditorium has room for 600 people, with movie theater seating and lighted aisles. For those students who enjoy acting, there is a prop room, a make-up room, a costume room, and a stage with enough room for 100 people. The much needed locker rooms are roomy as well as advanced in design. Both genders will have two locker rooms each.  There will be rooms for the coaches and visiting teams will be able to change in their own locker rooms. The teachers will have rooms with telephones and comfortable furniture. Windham High School will have great academic and extracurricular programs as well as outdoor seating for lunchtime.  It’s going to be bigger and better than any high school in the area!
