We are pleased to inform you that we will be using an on-line program called "PTC Wizard" to schedule parent teacher conferences this spring. Windham High School implemented this program last fall for their parents so many of you will already be familiar with the process.
The PTC Wizard system allows you to schedule your own appointments with your child's teachers. The portal for this program will be on the front page of the Windham Middle School website, http://www.windhamsd.org/wms/index.cfm. You will be able to view the portal to the PTC Wizard on Monday, March 1st to begin the process with registration, and it will remain there until April 7th. The parent conferences will be held on Wednesday, April 7th and Thursday, April 8th. The sign-ups for parents will be on a first come, first serve basis.
When you access the website by going to http://www.windhamsd.org/wms/index.cfm, on the right side of the page, you will see the portal and be able to register. You begin by entering your name, an email address, and a password. Once you enter your child's name, you will be taken through a simple, step-by-step procedure, which allows you to choose from your child's teachers' available time slots. After you create a conference schedule for yourself, the details of your schedule will be automatically emailed to you.
