Dear Parents,

We are coming to the end of the 8^th grade year at Windham Middle School and it is a busy time. We are doing everything to make this time as enjoyable to all.

A letter had been sent home notifying parents that inappropriate behavior on the part of a student could result in the loss of privileges to attend the end of the year activities. This was in reference to a warning system instituted on May 5. If any student accumulates 3 warnings, the student will lose Hampton Beach; a 4^th warning will result in the loss of the 8^th grade dance. Students may be given more than 1 warning if the inappropriate behavior is severe (Ex. fighting, stealing). Students may immediately lose an activity if the behavior warrants it. Parents will be notified when a student is given a warning.

In addition, as is the practice of the 8^th Grade, any student with an outstanding bill will not be allowed to attend Hampton Beach. This includes, but not only, lunch payments, overdue library books, locks (either school or gym), and class books.

We would like to see all students participate in all activities. It is our hope that by keeping you informed, we can realize that goal.
