Superintendent's Welcome Message

Hello, and welcome to the Windham School District!

I wanted to take a moment to formally introduce myself as the new Superintendent.  My name is Dr. Kori Alice Becht and I am honored to be the new Superintendent of Windham School District.  I have been working within the Windham School District for over twenty years most recently serving as the district’s Assistant Superintendent.

Superintendent Richard Langlois retired effective December 31, 2021, after a six-year tenure with the Windham School District, and 47 years as an educational professional and leader.  On the behalf of the Windham School District, I want to thank him for his leadership and mentorship.

We wish Mr. Langlois the best in his future endeavors and want to thank him for the significant contributions he has made to our students, staff, and community. We have learned and continued to evolve as a district throughout the lingering challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic continues to bring.  Our district’s strong foundation of exceptional leaders, teachers, staff, and community has allowed us to stay committed to focusing on our student's academic, social, and emotional success.  Our team is prepared to guide all students on their journey to fulfill and explore their opportunities for greatness. I am honored to serve the Windham School District and I am confident in our staff and students' ability to shine.

My door is always open for questions and I look forward to meeting with you.

Happy New Year!

Dr. Kori Alice Becht
