2024 Scholastic Awards

2024 Scholastic Awards

We proudly announce that twenty-six pieces from Windham High School art students were selected for the 2024 Scholastic Awards. Four students received Gold Key awards. One of the Gold Key Awards  is  being considered for the American Visionary Award for New Hampshire, which is a great accomplishment as this student is 1 of 25 students in the state being considered for this recognition.  Five of the high school students received Silver Key Awards and eleven students were awarded Honorable Mentions. We are also thrilled to announce that three pieces from Windham Middle School were entered and selected for an award. This is a first for students at the Middle School. One of the pieces received a Gold Key Award and is being considered for National Recognition. The other two pieces received Honorable Mention.

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards recognize student achievement in the visual and literary arts in 28 categories, including drawing and illustration, photography, flash fiction, poetry, film and animation, journalism, and more. This is the nation’s longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens. If you want to see these pieces, they will be showcased at Pinkerton Academy, in Derry NH, in February.  Congratulations to all of our talented students!
